What it is
A storefront I designed and built for Abhay Steel, a steel-furniture manufacturer in Nashik with decades of in-house fabrication behind it. The site turns a long-running workshop into a clean online presence where customers can browse the range and ask for a quote.
The brief
Make a manufacturer feel trustworthy and modern online without losing the “built to last” story. The work is precision-fabricated and serviced for life — the site needed to carry that weight while staying simple to navigate.
What’s on it
- The product range — cupboards and wardrobes, storage and shelving, dining furniture, lockers, and custom fabrication, organised so a buyer finds their category fast.
- The case for the brand — decades of in-house manufacturing in Nashik, durable materials, and lifelong servicing.
- A clear path to enquire — request a quote rather than a generic contact form, matching how the business actually sells.
How I built it
- React + Tailwind CSS for the customer-facing storefront.
- Node.js + Express + PostgreSQL behind it for the catalog and the data that drives it, with an admin side to manage products and orders.
- Mobile-first and quick to load, since most enquiries start on a phone.
